It’s no surprise that Video is a powerful medium. In fact, it’s so powerful that by 2022, it will consume over 82% of internet traffic.
The unfortunate events of the Covid-19 Pandemic led to video being used even more and in ways many may have never imagined.
With so much video out there, how does a business or brand stand out enough to grab their audiences attention?
I’ll share some ways you can use video to build a relationship with your audience.
First and foremost, any brand or business should know their target audience. That means – Who are you selling your products (or service) too? Where do they live? Where do they hangout? What do they do for a living? Who are those people?
In order to hone in on your video marketing game plan, this is a crucial step to getting it right and using your video marketing budget to its full potential.
Once you have that information handy, then you can start planning what types of videos to can create for your business.
Video comes in many forms, short-form (social media video), longer formats, video for landing pages or specifically for your website. Video to promote, or sell a product such as a Promo Video.
If you’re just starting out, one way to spark that connection with your audience is to create a Behind The Scenes Video.
Also known as BTS video, a behind the scenes video is a great way to engage and connect with your target audience and here’s why.
As we all know, no one wants to be sold too, we want to be shown and spoken to like a human. By showing the process of how your business does what it does best, you can connect with your audience on a personal level. These types of Behind The Scenes videos makes your brand or business relatable, approachable, and more human like.
Allowing your audience an inside glimpse into a project is a great opportunity to show off the hard work and the realness of the it all.
